Cherryle produces a large sized nut with a thin shell; 40 nuts per pound with 56% kernel. It ripens in mid October. Cherryle is a Type 2 cultivar that would be pollinated by Amling or Cape Fear or a combination of an early shedder like Desirable and a late shedder like Elliot. It has a moderate scab resistance and grows to a mature height of 75 to 100 feet.
